about

"Invierno has (as the title may already suggest) two topics or themes it is mainly influenced by:
The country of Spain and the season of winter. It was recorded in the winter of 2021/22, and the Spanish influence is founded mainly on the listening-experience of Rodrigo's Concerto de Aranjuez.
I tried to transform the melancholic summer-atmosphere of this beautiful work into the winter season by using some tiny fragments, granulating them and communicating with them via my modular synth. The tracks developed in a constant flow.
The Rags of Winter are two pieces created right afterwards in the same atmosphere with the use of the modular again and a Ciat Lonbarde Sidrax as a second instrument.
I am glad that this album, which is quite dear to me, found a home on the beautiful Rohs! label, and would like to thank Andrea Porcu many times for his care about it."
