I lve about 40 miles away from the floodes Ahr-Valley and it´s really unbelievable how the water came after 2 extremely dry summers and the damages they have done to the forest. So.here in Koblenz, where the rain did not fall that hard, you could just be happy to have water because the very dry ground needed it . But then you look into the papers and see how a valley in an hour-drives distance got completely flooded and how many people lost their lives is still not clear.
This track contains field-recordings and the atmosphere of another river-valley, the one of the river Rance in Brittany, and I would like to offer this recording to support the peole a the Ahr, who got hit so terribly hard.

All money donated here I will send to the helpfund of the council of Rhineland-Platania. If you prefer, you can of course also send money there directly:
